The default weights reflect a general professional-development lens, not a universal ranking. Change your mental weighting if your stage differs. A score is only as reliable as the evidence behind it—verify recruiting claims against the agreement, actual workflow and conversations with current agents.

How to score honestly

Do not award five points because a recruiter says “great support.” Ask who handles escalation, how fast, what happens on evenings before a financing-condition deadline, and whether you can speak with a recently onboarded agent. Convert adjectives into evidence.

Use economics as one dimension

Compensation matters, but it belongs beside the systems that determine whether business is generated, packaged correctly and funded. Run both brokerages through the commission calculator using identical production assumptions.
